Church of St. Denis Dedication Ceremony Held on 100th Anniversary

The Rite of Dedication Ceremony, marking the opening of The Church of St. Denis, was held on what was the 100th anniversary of this Manasquan, New Jersey Parish. This project was the addition and renovation to this historic church and consisted of extensive interior renovations including the reconfiguring of the existing Nave and Sanctuary area along with the replacement of all the interior finishes and MEP systems. The project also includes an addition which houses the gathering space and an exterior raised plaza which also serves as an outdoor gathering space. The new addition features exterior stone work to match the existing facade of this landmark church. Pictured are Douglas Phelps, President and Craig Verhasselt, Project Executive of Phelps Construction Group along side The Most Reverend John M. Smith, the Bishop of Trenton. During the Ceremony Phelps Construction Group along with the Architect Anthony Genovese had the honor of handing the plans of the completed project over to the Bishop.
