Teachers Village at Four Corners to Revitalize Newark

Phelps Construction Group is incredibly proud to participate in the revitalization of the City of Newark, NJ. One of the nation's major air, shipping, and rail hubs, Newark will soon be home to ‘Teachers Village at Four Corners’ -a major urban renewal project housing charter schools, apartments for educators and a new retail corridor. Phelps has been awarded the first project, ‘Building Two’, a four-story 104,000 SF charter school building with first floor retail space. This project is part of Newark's greater plan to revitalize the city by bringing in new businesses along with 224 housing units to accommodate teachers in an effort to further improve area schools.
